The 328 GTS, along with its fixed-roof counterpart, the 328 GTB, represents the final evolution of Ferrari’s naturally aspirated transverse V8 two-seaters. Introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show alongside the Mondial 3.2, the ‘328’ designation signifies its 3.2-liter engine displacement and eight-cylinder configuration.

Design Evolution

The 328 model features a softened wedge profile compared to its predecessor, the 308, with a redesigned nose and tail that present a more rounded form. Body-colored bumpers integrated into the fenders, a radiator grille, and a front light assembly layout similar to the Mondial 3.2 contribute to a cohesive family image across Ferrari’s eight-cylinder range.
