Description
LAST 180° V TWELVE-CYLINDER
The Ferrari Testarossa is a sports car from Ferrari released in 1984. It is one of Ferrari’s most famous models.
The name "Testarossa," like that of the 288 GTO also introduced in 1984, refers to a prestigious model from the 250 series. The car was designed by Pininfarina, and one of its signature features, which made it an icon of the 1980s, is the typical air vents in the doors, which were also used in later models. These are also known as "egg-slicers." Additionally, the Testarossa, along with the Ferrari 348 inspired by it, is one of the few models without the iconic round taillights. This model is equipped with a twelve-cylinder engine. A total of 7,177 units of this model were produced. The 1984 and 1985 models had a single side mirror on the driver’s side, located halfway up the A-pillar. In 1986, after several complaints from Testarossa owners, Ferrari decided to move the mirror to the usual position at the bottom of the A-pillar and also added a right-side mirror. The Testarossa was the last 180° V twelve-cylinder (flat) engine Ferrari built in the 1980s, and the final models were sold under the names 512TR and 512M.
This as-new Rosso Corsa Testarossa was originally delivered in Austria. It is also Classiche certifiable. The history is well-documented, and in 2022, major maintenance was performed. The engine has been fully rebuilt, and the car has been completely prepared.
