The special 488 Pista Spider series, the 50th open model produced by Ferrari, was the best-performing Ferrari Spider ever made, boasting a record power-to-weight ratio of 1.92 kg/hp.

This 488 Pista Spider combines the finest race-developed technological solutions with the thrill of open-air driving, delivering an exhilarating experience behind the wheel.

The goal of the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider’s dynamic development was to produce a car that offers exceptional mechanical performance in terms of lap times and standing starts, driving pleasure, and accessible performance for drivers of all skill levels.

In terms of features and performance, the engine of the 488 Pista Spider not only sets the benchmark for the new generation of turbocharged engines but for all engines, including naturally aspirated ones.
For three consecutive years, this engine was awarded the title of ‘Engine of the Year’ in 2016, 2017, and 2018. It is also the most powerful V8 ever used in a road-going Ferrari, both in overall and specific power output. It delivers the highest power increase compared to the model it was developed from, the 488 Spider.

The interior features a strikingly minimalist, race-inspired aesthetic. The extensive use of lightweight, exclusive technical materials like carbon fiber and Alcantara works brilliantly alongside the meticulous craftsmanship and refinement characteristic of all Ferrari cockpits.
